A great 8.0 earthquake happened in Wenchuan, Sichuan, China on May 12th, The earthquake affected Chongqing, Gansu, Shanghai, Beijing, more than 20 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions,some teams have sent letters to ask whether the Outdoor Sports competition had been affected, our office now do notice on the matters concerned as follows:

1、The severe disaster areas of earthquake are Wenchuan, Beichuan, Mianzhu, etc, but Wulong county, the place of the race venue, is about 600Km far away from the epicenter, it didn’t be affected, and there was never a earthquake happened in Wulong County history, all the participating teams’ Security will be guaranteed;

2、2008 Wulong, Chongqing, China International Mountain Quest will be held as originally planned, the time of the race is from August 27th to September 2nd , moreover, August 27th – 29th teams check in, August 30th Qualifying race, August 31st - September 2nd formal race.
