Wulong county, which is in the southeast edge of Chongqing and on the lower reaches of the Wujiang River and lies at the  junction of the Wuling Mountain and Dalou Hill, is located at east longitude 107 ° 13’-108 ° 05 ‘, north latitude 29 ° 02’-29 ° 40’.It’s about  82.7 km from East to West and 75 km from north to south. Its area is about 2901.3 square kilometers, of which 44.5 million mu is arable land and 5.1 square kilometers is the county built-up areas. Wulong is on the western edge of Pengshui, on the northern edge of Zhen county of Guizhou province, on the eastern edge of Nanchuan and Fuling, on the southern edge of Fengdu, and it’s about 170km from the urban area of Chongqing. It’s just located at the the meeting point of the “a circle with two wings” programming. Wulong contains 26 townships, with 408,400 people, the county seat is Xiangkou town.
Wulong is a mountainous region, its northeast part is high,  southwest part is low, the annual average temperature is about  17.9 ° C, the annual precipitation is  more than 1,000 mm, the altitude is between 160 and 2033 meters, and it is a subtropical Monsoon climate, three-dimensional climate is very obvious.
