Travel

• Competitors need to arrive at Chong Qing (CKG) Airport, Chong Qing Province no later than 09:00 AM on August the 29th. There are frequent flights from Chong Qing to many cities within China, such as Shanghai, Beijing and Canton as well as direct international flights to Hong Kong. All competitors can leave from Chong Qing on the 3rd of September.   All foreign nationals need to apply for a visa to China in advance. Please contact your nearest Chinese embassy for further details.

Equipment

• Mandatory Gear Mandatory equipment per competitor: ·1 Mountain bike ·1 Mountain bike helmet in conformity with US or CE standard ·1 climbing sit harness in conformity with UIAA or CE standard ·3 locking karabiners in conformity with UIAA or CE standard ·1 figure of 8 descending device in conformity with UIAA or CE standard (any      other devices are not allowed!) ·1 Sling 60cm in conformity with UIAA or CE standard ·1 Sling 120cm in conformity with UIAA or CE standard ·1 pair of rappelling gloves with closed finger tips ·1 waterproof headtorch ·1 buoyancy aid in conformity with US or CE standard ·2 Throw bags per team Suggested Equipment Sunscreen, full bike repair kit (no spares can be sourced locally), small first aid kit, every competitor should have the ability to carry at least 2l of water on the race course, snacks and power food.
